• Lot Description
  A fine Georgian mourning ring commemorating Mrs. Ann Richardson, who died April 1, 1805 at age 59. The wide band is crafted in 18K yellow gold with a black enamel ground inscribed in Gothic script: "Mrs. Ann Richardson OB: 1 APR. 1805 ÆT: 59". The bezel is set with a glazed compartment containing a finely woven lock of hair. The interior bears crisp English hallmarks for London, 1804, and the maker’s mark "WB" for William Bickerton.
