• Lot Description
  A fine serpentine-front mahogany knife box, the slant lid centered with an oval shell marquetry inlay within ebony banding. The shaped front with canted corners rises from a molded bracket base. Original brass bail handle to the side and shield-form escutcheon to the front door. Rich figured mahogany veneer throughout.
