• Lot Description
  An elegant octagonal tazza or pedestal centerpiece, cast and chased in gilt bronze with elaborate scrolling foliate decoration to the rim and base. The central medallion features finely modeled relief decoration of two birds perched on flowering branches, executed in mixed metal finishes with subtle polychrome patination, lending dimensionality and contrast. The raised stem and foot are richly ornamented with classical motifs and scrolling acanthus leaves.

  Condition

  Scattered wear to gilding, minor oxidation and patina consistent with age, overall very good presentation.
