  A finely carved oval shell cameo depicting a Roman god in classical profile, adorned with laurel leaves. The carving is executed with exceptional detail and precision, characteristic of the finest Neoclassical work produced during the Grand Tour era. Set in an elegant plain gold bezel mount with pin clasp fitting to reverse.

  Wear and abrasions consistent with age. The clasp is damaged.
