  Hungary, 20th century. A fine hand-painted porcelain tureen with matching underplate, decorated in the Rothschild Bird pattern, featuring perched songbirds among branches, colorful butterflies, and insects. The piece is further enhanced with applied rose and leaf handles, a lemon finial, and gilt trim throughout. The underplate is decorated en suite.
