• Lot Description
  A Heriz carpet featuring a large central geometric medallion set on a red field with angular floral and lattice motifs typical of the region. The field includes stepped forms, branching elements, and small scattered geometric details arranged symmetrically around the medallion. Ivory corner spandrels carry related motifs and frame the central design.<br>The border system consists of a wide dark main border with repeating stylized floral groups and vine elements, flanked by guard borders with small rosettes and linear patterns. Persian, ca. 1970's
