  Complex and exceptionally well painted multi-level mountains perspective composition with close attention to fine details, depicting in polychrome on rice paper variety of rural everyday life and different activities of villagers; signed in the upper left corner: "Stone-pillowing Hermit / Cai Heting" and sealed: Heting (the author’s given name) and Cai (the author’s family name). Framed under glass in plain wooden frame, overall 61-3/4" x 34-1/2". Provenance: private collection, Pittsburgh, PA.
