• Lot Description
  Late Edo/Early Meiji period, 1860-1877. Ryobiraki isho-dansu, with double doors, designed for smaller articles of clothing or accessories. The drawer front and doors, top and sides, have a yosegi-zaiku or zogan inlaid pattern of sayagata and interwoven manji.The front door inset panels have a lacquered motif using maki-e and inlaid aogai material with shishi dog and peony flower motif.
