• Lot Description
  Early transfer ware porcelain plate with a ridged ("pie crust-style") iron brown rim, depicting two phoenixes among floral-foliate design in the centre, border with meandering Buddha's swastika sun symbols accented with blooming Sakura flowers, marked the bottom; the foot rim is unglazed but the base is glazed. Provenance: old private collection of high-rank diplomatic missions' representative to Asian States in 1970's/1980's.

  Good, few scratches from normal use.
