• Lot Description
  Patinated metal vase of robust cylindrical form with an organically modeled rim incorporating pierced openings and flowing, root-like extensions. The surface is richly worked in high relief, featuring a figural scene to each side framed within a wooded, grotto-like setting, the surrounding body modeled as tree trunks and foliage. Flower insert, signature at the bottom with foundry mark, Art Nouveau, ca. 1900.
