• Lot Description
  Medium low silky wool pile on cotton foundation. Very fine hand-knotted carpet. Field featuring a red field with a series of connected medallions arranged along the length of the carpet. The field contains floral and vine motifs placed between and around the medallions. The border system includes a dark main border with repeating floral elements, framed by guard borders with smaller vine patterns. Persian, ca. 1970's
