• Lot Description
  A 10 1/2" flat dish with the Greek hero Bellerophon and his horse pegasus, cast dead center into the bottom of the dish, from which extends plain wire handles topped with Greek masks. The dish sits on a short pedestal which terminates on the back of a Sphinx, which rests on a simple rectangular base, trimmed with rose motifs along it's outer edge. Medium brown patina. Weighs approximately 15 pounds.
