• Lot Description
  Mark Rothko, Fondation Louis Vuitton Poster, 2023. For a Paris exhibition held from 2023-2024 by the Louis Vuitton Foundation a French art museum and cultural center sponsored by the group LVMH, of Mark Rothko's work, under glass in black frame.

  Condition

  Very good. Colors fresh and fully saturated with no fading, creasing, dents, tears or edge chips visible through the glazing. Glazed with Tru Vue Museum Glass (UV-filtering; label affixed to verso) in a narrow black metal section frame with light handling marks. Sealed white backing board is clean with no moisture staining or cockling; wire and strap hangers intact, corner bumpers present. Not examined out of the frame; method of attachment to the backing unconfirmed.
