• Lot Description
  Framed antique hand fan with finely painted pastoral scene depicting figures, animals, and classical architecture, likely 18th or early 19th century. The pierced and carved sticks are delicately decorated of mother-of-pearl. Presented in a gilt-edged shadow box with inscription noting its provenance: originally belonging to Louisa, Marchioness of Sligo, and passed down through generations to Lady Moya Browne on her marriage. A charming and historically significant heirloom piece.
