• Lot Description
  A teardrop-form art glass vase from the celebrated Kraka series designed by Sven Palmqvist for Orrefors. Executed in the sommerso technique, the vase features a cobalt blue and amber lattice pattern with controlled air bubbles, suspended within thick clear crystal. This signature “fishnet” effect was achieved through Palmqvist’s innovative lace graal method, developed in 1944. The piece bears the etched inscription “Orrefors Kraka” along with Palmqvist’s signature.
