  Each is finely cast as a nude child reading atop a stack of books, with expressive modeling and a dark bronze patina. Signed "KBW" and incised “Artbronz” to the reverse, indicating production by Kunst-Bronze-Werkstätten, Germany. Early to mid-20th century.
