• Lot Description
  A charming pair of flat-profile cast iron figures representing angels in classical drapery, each playing a musical instrument—one a flute, the other a lute. Finely detailed with flowing robes and feathered wings, these figures likely functioned as decorative plaques or elements from a larger ecclesiastical or architectural display. Marked on the reverse "MADE IN GERMANY" and numbered 61, these figures reflect the fine craftsmanship associated with traditional German ironworks, possibly from the renowned foundries of the Siegerland or Westphalia regions.
