• Lot Description
  Bold geometric design with a row of large, shield-like medallions running along the central field, each containing highly stylized abstract motifs resembling birds or totems in navy blue, ochre, and ivory on a rust background. The main border is cream-colored tinged with orange with stepped, angular vine or latch-hook motifs, enclosed by secondary borders featuring small geometric rosettes and checkered accents in dark blue, gold, and rust. Persian, ca. 1940's/1950's
