Pair of Victorian-style glass mantle lustres, each featuring a hand blown glass hand-painted gilt lion passant before a crown, framed by ruby-red floral enamel decoration. Mounted on brass stands with hanging clear cut glass prisms. With Imperial coat of arms, brass bases made in Russia during Nicholas I (1825 - 1855); marked 1838 on bottom.

Good overall antique condition, hurricanes wobbly on base, old repair to the rim of one, chip to the rim of another, some oxidations, chips to prisms. Some dents.
