• Lot Description
  A Royal Doulton stoneware vase, featuring raised relief chrysanthemum blossoms with flowing stems and leaves against a rich mottled cobalt blue and brown glazed ground. The upper section of the neck is finished in a glossy, deep oxblood glaze, which contrasts with the earthy tones of the base and the fine relief work. The floral decoration is rendered with exceptional depth and texture, characteristic of Doulton’s high-quality studio wares from the early 20th century. The base is impressed with the Royal Doulton mark featuring the lion over the crown and interlocking “D”; an additional impressed "h" within a shield indicates the year 1907 and includes the artist or decorator's initials.
