• Lot Description
  Cauldon Ltd England plates, set of 12, 9-7/8" diameter. Two boat shaped baskets with reticulated rim, 1-5/8"H x 11" x 8-3/8" by Minton for Phillips. One rectangular basket with reticulated rim, 1-1/2"H x 10-1/4"W x 8". An elegant assembled group of English bone china plates. Comprising pierced and shaped examples, the plates are lavishly decorated in heavy gilt with scrolling foliate motifs, latticework borders, shell and rocaille ornament, and central sunburst or floral medallions, all set against a white ground. Several plates feature elaborate openwork borders, while others display dense gilt scrollwork framing reserved centers.

  Condition

  Small crack to two basket rims, otherwise good.
