• Lot Description
  A 19th-century English Staffordshire pottery figure depicting a Scottish Highlander on horseback, mounted as a table lamp on an oval mahogany base. The figure is polychrome-decorated showing the rider in tartan dress with a green cape, holding a bagpipe, astride a white horse. Typical flat-back Staffordshire construction. Fitted with a gooseneck brass rod and burlap drum shade.

  Condition

  Polychrome decoration is bright with minimal wear. Some minor surface marks visible on the horse. Lamp conversion appears older. Shade included but worn.
