• Lot Description
  Rare and wonderful sculptures by nationally known as "the turtle guy", Pennsylvaina artist Thomas McFarland; cold cast porcelain / ceramic figures of group of sea turtles, 7-1/2" x 5-1/2",, 2" x 2' x 2-1/8" and one hatching sea green turtle baby. Large sculpture signed "Merry Christmas, Mark 1985 T. McFarland" and small sculpture signed: "For M.L.R. Green sea-turtle T. McFarland 1985." Composition offered in hand blown glass display with sand. Provenance: old private collection, Ligonier, PA; acquired directly from the artist.
