• Lot Description
  Hand-knotted rug, wool on wool, with a rich red field decorated with multiple rows of large octagonal elephant’s foot (gul) medallions in deep brown, black, and green, accented with small tribal devices. The design is framed by multiple narrow borders with repeating geometric patterns. Afghani, ca. 1980's

  Condition

  One side is shorter than the rest of the carpet (see photos,) light wear, overall good.
