Consisting of two copper alloy snuff bottles: one with porcelain oval reserves minute hand painted in polychrome, depicting European style ladies in period outfits, cast floral-foliate design on the sides, raised on oval foot, stopper with metal spoon and quartz top, marked with four-character Qianlong marks on the bottom, 3-1/4" x 1-7/8" x 1-1/4"; second - of flattened ovoid form, depicting in relief two Foo Lions walking on sea waves on both sides, handles fashioned as Foo Liond heads with rings, finished in polychrome enamels, stopper with long metal spoon and Peking glass red top, unmarked, 2-7/8" x 2-1/4" x 1-1/4".
Condition
Good overall, one with loss to enamel on one side miniature picture, one snuff bottle slightly wobbly.
