• Lot Description
  A pair of Roman blown-glass vessels in olive-green glass, both retaining good iridescent weathering with patches of blue, purple, and orange encrustation across the surfaces. The smaller piece is a slender unguentarium with a narrow neck and flared rim, used for storing perfume or oil. The larger is a globular jar with a wide, short neck and everted rim, likely used for storing liquids or cosmetics.

  Condition

  Both intact. Surface encrustation throughout.
