"Colt in Egyptian Blue", 1931. Ceramic, signed on the side of the base. Closely modeled on an earlier piece by Michael Powolny, fired at the Institute of Art, according to Henry Adams "Viktor Schreckengost and 20th Century Design", William Milliken commissioned 15 examples of this piece to give out as wedding presents, paying $25 for each piece. However, Mrs. Dyer, head of the ceramic studio at the Institute of Art, charged Viktor $12.50 each for the use of the kiln.
