• Lot Description
  Hand-knotted carpet, the ivory field with an allover diamond lattice of stylized floral sprays, cypress and vase motifs in crimson, navy, rose and green, centered by a stepped crimson lozenge medallion with matching spandrels. Ivory-ground main border of alternating palmettes and leafy cartouches between multiple floral guard stripes. Wool pile on a cotton foundation, with fringe at both ends.
