1 black silk georgette trained evening gown embroidered w/ black bugle beaded in broad geometric bands & hanging panels from back SHs, c. 1928-1931, B 38”, W 34”, L 49”, (underarm discoloration, several seam openings/strains or repairs up to 1”, broad light mildew spotting, tiny pulls, moderate bead loss esp. CB) fair; 1 black silk crepe dress w/ smocked yoke, lower sleeve & W, black silk floss embroidery to CF & full sleeves, c. 1925-1928, B 42”, W 40”, L 44”, (few 0.25”-0.5” light stains, light wear/fraying to drawstring) very good. PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
