,(lot of 2) Antique Percussion Firearms: (1) Percussion rifle, c. 1840's, 26.5" part octagonal, part round rifled barrel, blade front sight (loose), wood ramrod, fixed rear sight, unmarked lockplate, patch box, brass butt plate, lacking barrel bands, stock cracked above trigger guard and repaired with metal plates at either sight, hammer will not fully cock, trigger and set trigger, bore with surface rust, well defined rifling, overall approx. 41.75"l; (1) Imperial Arms Side by Side Shotgun, (Hopkins & Allen), 30.5" load barrels, checkered center rib, bead front sight, double hammers and triggers, light scrolled engraving at hammers, checkered stock with glued repair at wrist, plastic butt plate with chip, two sling swivels, left barrel with small dent visible at bore, action is good, bores semi bright, overall 46.5"l, for shipping total of both approx. 14.35lbs **Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
