(lot of 2) U.S. Knives: (1) U.S. M1 Bayonet, the 9.75" stopped fuller dagger point blade marked at the left ricasso "A F H (American Fork & Hoe) over "U S" separated by an ordnance bomb, a steel cross guard with push lock button, black Bakelite handle and birds head pommel, housed in the M3 green scabbard marked "U.S:. within an ordnance bomb", overall approx. 15.75"l; (1) U.S. Model 1909 Bolo Knife, the 13.75" blade marked at the left ricasso "S A" (Springfield Armory) over an "ordnance bomb" over "1912", the opposite ricasso marked "U.S. over "13882", the cross guard with lock stud and three pin curving wood handle with brass pommel, overall approx. 19.25"l, housed in a now black leather scabbard with brass throat, the scabbard marked "R.I.A (Rock Island Arsenal), "1911 above H.E." (initial is likely H.E.K. with K now unreadable, an unknown named inspector at R.I.A.), the blade with dark spots, no noticeable nicks, the scabbard in poor condition with tears and loss to belt loop, overall approx. 19.5"l
