(lot of 6) Provincial walnut dining chairs, Spain, early 20th c., laddered backs flanked by turned finials, over woven rush seat, rising on stretcher-joined turned legs, ending on tapered feet, two chairs intact with glue repairs to upper back rail, approx 42"h, 17.5"w, 16"d, seat height: approx 18"h
Condition
10/20/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT : 3356- the chairs are overall sturdy and sit firmly, two chairs are intact with glue repairs to the crest rails, see images, the remaining back rails and turned frames appear generally intact, all being stable, the wood surfaces display expected rubs, nicks, tonal variation, finish wear and areas of mellowing, particularly along the lower front stretchers consistent with use, rush seats remain intact overall with scattered minor fraying, small breaks to individual strands of material and general wear, all commensurate with age, handling and use
