American Empire style bronze double-sided bank lobby table, early 20th c., having central lamp with domed shade stamped The Frink Corporation Reflectors, New York (I.P. Frink, Inc.), concealing four lights, equipped with US wiring, flanking dual sloped marble tops, with pierced scrollwork apron, the side panels centered by an American bald eagle bearing an olive branch and arrows, rising on stretcher-joined cabriole legs with lion mask terminals, ending on paw feet, overall with lamp: approx 68"h, 48"w, 45"d, table height: approx 43.5"h, floor to bottom of apron (clearance): approx 37"h
CR 8.27.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3395: I note that the table stands sturdy, the marble tops are sturdy, appearing fully secure on the underlying frame. The marble exhibits inherent natural inclusions and fissures, seemingly having a sealant finish, which exhibits some peeling, most of it very minor at the edges (see images), the edges also with some sparse minor chips commensurate with age and use. The lamp is equipped with US wiring but has been disconnected from the base for transport (lamp is easily removed from base with several screws for safe transit), only requiring wire nuts. The bronze is overall well-preserved, with tonal variations associated with typical patination, spotting, and some sparse, minute pitting, the lamp shade with a couple of small minor dents, which are consistent with early 20th century origin, and the frame with a very sparse amount of typical minor surface wear such as small nicks and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Please refer to attached images.
