Framed Roman Catholic antiphonary page, Gregorian chant in Latin for Vespers, c. 17th/ 18th c.,likely on velum, both sides visible and include opening words from Psalms 111, 130, 138, and 145, including "Apud Dominum misericordia," traditionally associated with prayers for the dead, intact with small holes throghout, mosted observed in the black areas, as well as some taped repars noted along borders, not examined out of frame, conditon or joinery of borders under mat unknown, the obverse sight: approx 18.5"h, 13.5/8"w, the reverse sight: approx 18"h, 13"w, overall: approx 24"h, 19"w, 7.5lbs

08/11/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT: 3329- please note that I am not an expert on works such as this, so have taken numerous images for your reference, as described the sheet shows detail on both sides, there are small holes scattered throughout, primarily within the darkened areas, minor tears, some old taped repairs noted along the edges, toning, foxing and/or staining, what appears to be pencil scribble to one side and a light pencil notation (8500?) along one edge, the work was not examined out of the framing, therefore I cannot determine how it is attached to the mat or examine the reverse in its entirety, the cataloger believes the work appears to be executed on vellum, however this has not been confirmed outside the frame, as I am not an expert on such items, I am unable to render an opinion on if the sheet contains active mold, please do not bid if you are uncertain as I do not know, the frame is stable exhibiting rubs, nicks and wear
