English Jacobean style carved oak hall table, early 20th c., having canted rectangular top with raised gallery, over single drawer, rising on barley twist supports, joined by medial shelf, ending on bun feet, approx 35.5"h, 42"w, 19"d
Condition
07.14.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 1227: I note that the table is intact and stands sturdy, appearing secure throughout joinery points, the drawer operating smoothly with a minor patched repair at the top left corner of drawer front with some slightly visible adhesive residue, the lower shelf remains secure with some typical minor splits, and a seam of panel separation near back edge, as well as some minor chipped loss near joinery to barley twist supports, drawer hardware remains securely mounted with light patination, and there is a sparse amount of typical minor surface wear commensurate with age and use such as minor scuffs and nicks
