English oak lawyer's stacking bookcase, early 20th c., three stacking tiers, each with pair of leaded glass cabinet doors, above three drawers, on conforming plinth base, approx 55.5"h, 35.25"w, 12.5"d
Condition
10/20/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT : 3118- please note that the bookcase is located in a very dark and cramped area of the gallery, I have used flash in most images, for best views please refer to the online photographs available with zoom, the structure is overall sturdy and stable, with the wood case exhibits scattered spotting, minor nicks, rubs, light abrasions and small areas of finish wear, glass appears intact and free of noted chips or cracks, with some inherent imperfections including bubbles, the glass would benefit from a gentle cleaning, the leading appears intact with minor wear and surface variation, the interior is largely clean with light wear, drawers open and close with the lowest sticking a bit, interiors show light wear, overall the bookcase presents well, exhibiting light wear and minor losses commensurate with age and use
