English Victorian pine sideboard/ kitchen dresser, late 19th c., raised backsplash with an open shelf, above the serpentine-front work surface, two short drawers and two long drawers with large molded glass pulls, flanked by paneled side cabinets enclosing a fixed-height shelf, on turned feet, approx 62.25"h, 61.75"w, 22.5"d
Condition
07.07.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 1202: I note that the sideboard stands sturdy and appears structurally sound, the pine having tonal variations associated with areas of finish fading and spotting commensurate with age, the drawers operate smoothly and cabinet interiors are overall well-kept, two of the glass knobs having a chip at the edge, all remaining secure to drawer fronts, drawers operate smoothly, and there are some scattered minor splits, which are typical, particularly at the backsplash, all appear stable, and there is minor surface wear, typical due to the softness of pine wood, such as scuffs, abrasions, nicks, and small chips commensurate with age and use
