(pair) French Neoclassical gilt-bronze sconces, 19th c., the stem modeled as a fabric swag, centered by a Wedgwood blue Jasperware cameo, each with a depiction of a labor of Hercules, (one) Hercules slaying the Nemean lion, (one) Hercules and Antaeus wrestling, above four foliate scroll arms, ending in a candle nozzle, now electrified, one cameo removed to reveal impressed Wedgwood mark, lacking (two) candle covers, would benefit from rewiring, sockets loose, approx 28"h, 12.5"w, 6"d, 15lbs total **Provenance: purchased from Keil's Antiques, Inc., New Orleans, Louisiana-$7500**

3.9.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 3372- we always suggest rewiring as while these have been wired to US standard, we do not know the condition or state of the wiring, and as described two sockets are lacking candle covers, most sockets need being secured, they lean/are loose, both bronze frames exhibits only minor mellowing and light rubs, Wedgwood plaques are intact and visible surfaces are free of noted chips, cracks or restoration, I note only some light grime, no major loss observed
