- Lot Description
French Provincial walnut farmhouse table, 19th c., pegged joinery, having rectangular plank top, apron fitted with drawer at either end, rising on turned supports, joined by curved H stretcher, ending on bun feet, approx 30"h, 106.5"l, 30.5"w, floor to bottom of apron (clearance): approx 28.5"h **Note: two matching trestle benches offered in this auction**
Condition
CR 7.3.25-In my opinion regarding LOT 3226: I note that the table is intact and stands sturdy, appearing secure throughout joinery points, there is tonal variation throughout associated with finish fading, light discoloration, and spotting/ staining, all being commensurate with 19th century origin, I observe a few small fills and stable splits, which are typical, as well as slight, minor seam separation of paneling that remains stable and secure, the drawers operate smoothly with well-kept interiors, and there is old evidence of woodworm commensurate with origin, I note some sparse typical minor surface wear such as small chips commensurate with age and use
