Large English brass ecclesiastical lectern with presentation inscription, late 19th c., the bookrest fronted by an eagle with outstretched wings, perched on a half-round orb, over spiraled and engraved standard, inscribed round base, ending on paw feet, inscription reading: "To the glory of God, This lectern was presented to St Matthew's Church by Louis Hebblethwaite.
