Louis XV style walnut writing desk, 20th c., parquetry-inlaid top, five drawers, on cabriole legs, approx 30.25"h, 55.5"w, 31.75"d
Condition
07.15.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 3477: I note that the desk stands sturdy and appears structurally secure throughout joinery points, having an overall well-retained finish, with some small spots of typical light discoloration commensurate with age and use, the parquetry top is well-preserved and free from observed losses, I note minute evidence of old woodworm, some with filled concealment, commensurate with origin, drawers operate smoothly and pulls remains securely mounted, there is a very sparse occurrence of typical minor surface wear such as some light abrasions and nicks commensurate with age and use, please refer to attached images
