Victorian brass display pedestal/ plant stand, late 19th c., inset rouge marble top, with pierced gallery and spherical finials, raised on curved legs with copper applique, joined by hoop stretcher and openwork medial shelf, medial shelf with minor epoxy reinforcement to trim, marble top intact with hairlines and small filled restoration, approx 38.75"h, 14.5"w, 14.5"d **Note: description updated 10.21.26 to reflect condition findings**
Condition
10/22/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT 3503: As described the trim of the medial shelf has a small segment of minor epoxy reinforcement, I note that the pedestal is structurally secure throughout, the marble top is intact with a small filled reinforcement near edges, and hairlines near the opposite corner, additionally there is a small hairline along a naturally occurring fissure, the brass exhibits tonal variations associated with patination and the applied copper elements remain securely mounted, the metal with some typical light abrasions and small nicks commensurate with age and use
