Contemporary button-tufted tan leather club chair, Whittemore-Sherrill Limited, late 20th c., having rounded barrel back, removable hide-upholstered seat cushion, large nailhead trim, rising on stretcher-joined turned supports, retaining maker's tag under seat, approx 42"h, 30.5"w, 32"d, seat height: approx 20"h
Condition
Cr 8.19.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 2174- the chair is sturdy and stable, its sits comfortably, leather buttons are present and securely attached, overall leather shows some typical mellowing, creasing, tonal variation, light spotting (a small stain at upper right), and scattered scuffs throughout, the seat cushion remains firm, hide seat is free of major areas of loss to hair, stitching is overall tight and secure with the exception of the left side at the back central line of stitching, there is a loose thread (pull) here, this is very minor, wood frame shows only sparse and minor wear, nicks and rubs, all mentioned minor and commensurate with use
