BILLINGS is proud to present our first auction dedicated to Scandinavian design. This sale is an eclectic collection spanning the 1930s through the 2000s. Included is a collection of beautiful flatweave rugs, as well as pieces by Henning Kjaernulf, Hans Wegner, Kai Kristiansen, Borge Mogensen, and many more. There are also several hard-to-find large sets of modular cased goods. Bidding will be live online. AINO + ALVAR AALTO
Child's desk, 1950s
Laminated birch plywood, laminate. Manufactured by Artek, Finland.23" H x 39.25" W x 20.75" D
Condition
Good vintage condition. Moderate wear throughout including scratches, scuffing and finish unevenness. The top has areas of indentation, scuffing and finish loss. One leg with a stablized crack to the interior, as well as several pen tip-sized holes into the side of the leg. Structurally sound.
