Bed with integrated headboard, lights and tables, 1950s
Sapele mahogany, reverse-painted glass, painted aluminum, brass, plastic. Made in Italy.42.5" H x 130" W x 80" D
Mattress area: 69" W x 76" D (Custom or Euro King Short)Provenance: Acquired from a Milanese apartment designed by Osvaldo Borsani
Condition
Overall very good vintage condition. Ligh scratches or scuffing throughout. One veneer chip to the right-facing wall panel, underneath the shelf, which is not visible when the bed is set up. Each bedside light appears to retain its original finish, which presents with light, occasional finish loss and surface wear. Each switch panel is missing one switch cover. Lights have not been tested. Inset glass tops have some minor chipping or finish loss along edges. Right-facing glass has an internal or underside chip.
