RENE-JEAN CAILLETTE
Dining table, ca. 1961
Rosewood, chrome-plated brass, chrome-plated steel. Produced by Charron, France.
Decal manufacturer's mark to drawer 'Charron Paris XI'.29" H x 72.75" W x 37.5" D
Condition
Good overall condition. Light surface wear throughout, including scratches and scuffing, some of which are deeper. The top has areas of veneer repair and occasional areas of darkening. One corner has a small veneer chip. One end has a 2.5" area of veneer loss. Metal elements with light oxidation.
Please note this work may require the buyer to obtain a CITES permit to export out of the United States. Due to increased scrutiny regarding the issuance of CITES certificates, we cannot guarantee an export permit will be granted.
