Housed in cloth and 1/2 leather clamshell custom case. Adventures (1892) without the words "Southampton Street" on the front cover street sign and "Violent" for "Violet" on page 317. Bound in the ORIGINAL publisher's bluish grey cloth with black and gilt titles to the beveled boards. G+ condition with moderate edgewear, binding showing between pages 96 and 97, and previous owner's name to front end papers. Memoirs (1894) with original dark blue publishers cloth boards, black and gilt titles and beveled edges. VG+ condition with minimal edgewear, tight and straight binding, previous owner's name to first blank page. Some sunning and shelf wear to clamshell. Overall a very nice set. Book case measures 8 1/8" wide x 10 3/4" high x 3 1/4" deep.
