Early 20th century reverse-painted scenic table lamp featuring a domed glass shade painted with a woodland landscape in warm tones of yellow, green, orange, and blue. The shade exterior has a hammered surface, while the underside displays the hand-painted scene in fuller detail. The lamp retains its original cast metal base with ribbed and shield motifs, finished in green and bronze patina. The lamp has a dual-socket interior, both original pull chains are missing. The lamp is in good to fair condition with a visible crack to the glass shade near the finial, scattered paint wear and surface abrasions to the shade, age-related wear to the base, and typical signs of wear. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Most items are eligible for in-house shipping. A separate shipping invoice will be sent within 5 business days of the auction close. Large, heavy, fragile, or high-value items will receive a UPS shipping quote. Buyers may request a list of recommended third-party shippers if preferred. All shipping costs are non-refundable. Local pickup is available by appointment at our Ferndale, Michigan facility. Pickup or shipping must be scheduled within 15 business days of the invoice date to avoid storage fees.
