- Lot Description
Three black-and-white photographs related to auto racing. The first photograph is of an Indy 500 winning car and is signed with the caption "Lou Meyer, Indy 500 Winner, 1928-33-36." The second depicts Wilbur Shaw receiving a celebratory kiss alongside the Indianapolis 500 trophy. It includes a stamped photo agency mark on the back (Sound Photo May 31, 1939). Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Most items are eligible for in-house shipping. A separate shipping invoice will be sent within 5 business days of the auction close. Large, heavy, fragile, or high-value items will receive a UPS shipping quote. Buyers may request a list of recommended third-party shippers if preferred. All shipping costs are non-refundable. Local pickup is available by appointment at our Ferndale, Michigan facility. Pickup or shipping must be scheduled within 15 business days of the invoice date to avoid storage fees.
