- Lot Description
An antique Chinese monochrome baluster vase of voluptuous form and glazed similarly to tea dust, having flared foot which rises to a bulbous center before opening to trumpet mouth. These highly decorative vases are stately and may be used as is or with munificent floral arrangements. In the interest of full disclosure, we note that our dating of the vases to c. 1930 may deprive the vases of true antiquity by 5-10 years. We also note that while vase decor resembles tea dust, the glossy glaze is not the traditional application of that style which is more muted or matte. Please understand that the photography is limited by reflection. The sinuous curves of these pleasing vases will easily adorn your home.
